Welcome to the Yorkshire West Methodist District
We stretch from Penistone and Denby Dale in the south of our District, to Settle and Bentham in the north; we cover the historic mill towns of Halifax, Huddersfield, and Keighley, the cities of Wakefield, Leeds, and Bradford, and the rural spaces, market towns, and hills between.
We are a place of incredible beauty and diversity, and we are at the heart of God’s own county. Across the District, we seek to discover God in our communities and neighbours, in our natural world, and through our gathering to serve and worship. We listen to God to find new ways to respond to God’s love in the places we live.
