Aire & Calder circuit – Assistant Children and Families Worker
The Aire & Calder Methodist Circuit are seeking a part-time Assistant Children & Families Worker to support churches across the circuit.
The person appointed will continue developing links with children and families in church-based faith activities, develop links with the community, and work in partnership with churches in the circuit to create and strengthen relationships with local schools.
Applicants will need to have previous relevant experience, and be able to travel to venues across the circuit on a regular basis. An Enhanced DBS disclosure with barred lists check will be required for this position, and there is an occupational requirement for the postholder to be a practicing Christian.
The role requires 12 hours per week, to be worked flexibly in agreement with the Line Manager. This is a Permanent position, and the rate of pay is between £12.45 and £13.32 per hour, depending upon experience and qualifications. The role will be based at The Circuit Office (WF1 5NU), but working circuit-wide.

Leeds Sanctuary – Interim Team Leader
Do you have the line management and oversight skills to lead the Leeds Sanctuary team and all its activities? Do you have strong communication skills to liaise with the University Chaplain, maintain strategic relationships and report to the Leeds Sanctuary Management Group?

Leeds South & West circuit – Youth and Families Worker
The Leeds South & West Circuit are seeking a full-time, fixed term Youth & Families Worker to facilitate and co-ordinate work with the growing number of young people at Trinity Methodist Church, Bramley.
The person appointed will lead and further develop Trinity Methodist Church’s current teaching and ministry to young people, establish an open access youth group to build link with non-churched young people, and create safe spaces for young people to explore and articulate their faith.
An Enhanced DBS disclosure with barred lists check will be required for this position, and there is an occupational requirement for the postholder to be a practicing Christian.
The role requires 35 hours per week, with core hours of 9.45am to 12.30pm every Sunday and 5.45pm to 8.15pm on alternate Sundays. Remaining hours will be worked flexibly in agreement with the Line Manager. This is a 3-year Fixed Term position, with the possibility of extension, and the rate of pay is between £13 and £16.50 per hour, depending upon experience and qualifications. The role will be based at Trinity Methodist Church (LS13 2ER).
