Reflecting on our Journey with A Methodist Way of Life
One of the core practices of A Methodist Way of Life is Reflecting on our Journey of Discipleship. Reflecting on how our journey is going, alongside visiting the twelve stations, enables us to step back, to see what God is doing amongst us, and to think about how we might live differently with and for God.
Reflecting on our Journey with A Methodist Way of Life is a monthly opportunity to discover more about what it means to engage in this core practice of reflection.
There are two ways you can participate in Reflecting on our Journey with A Methodist Way of Life:
1. Monthly Zoom Gathering
On the last Thursday of each month at 8pm Revd David Goodall and Revd Mark Stennett are hosting a Zoom where there will be an opportunity to hear members of the District reflect on their own discipleship, followed by an opportunity to reflect together. Each month we will reflect on two of the twelve Methodist Way of Life Stations.
If you’d like to come along to these Zooms, please sign up here: https://zoom.us/j/94354456886?pwd=bFaJhUGS6DzKbjmxwgrNLEMIu6vrYU.1
Each evening will stand alone so don’t worry if you can’t come to them all.
2. Monthly Video and Podcast
At the same time as the monthly gatherings we will share a video and podcast of the conversation with members of the District that has also been shared during the Zoom. We hope people can watch/listen to this in their own time and be inspired to engage further in reflecting on their journey of faith. The links to the videos and podcasts will be shared here in due course.
