Settle Methodist Circuit –
Circuit Mission Enabler (Settle/ Hellifield – Maternity Cover)

Settle Circuit are seeking a Circuit Mission Enabler to provide maternity cover for a 14 month period. The person appointed will work closely with the different church communities to promote, encourage and enable effective mission and evangelism, and to identify and deliver outreach activities on behalf of the churches and Circuit.

An Enhanced DBS disclosure with barred lists check will be required for this role, and there is an occupational requirement for the postholder to be a practicing Christian.

The role requires an average of 14 hours per week, to be worked flexibly in agreement with the Line Manager. This is a Fixed Term Contract of 14 months and the rate of pay is £14.44 per hour, with enrolment in the Circuit’s workplace pension scheme. This role can be home- or office-based, and regular engagement and attendance in the Circuit’s churches and communities will be key.

North Kirklees & Morley Methodist Circuit –
Facilities Coordinator

North Kirklees & Morley Circuit are seeking a Facilities Coordinator to work alongside the Minister and Managing Trustees at Batley Central Methodist Church, managing the day-to-day running of the church building and assisting with the maintenance of property records and policies.

An Enhanced DBS disclosure will be required for this role.

The role requires 10 hours per week, to be worked flexibly in agreement with the Line Manager. This is a Fixed Term Contract of 2 Years and the rate of pay is £16.11 per hour, with optional enrolment in the Circuit’s workplace pension scheme. This role will be home-based but some work from Batley Central Methodist Church (WF17) will be required.
